What is the Disney in Detail Project?

I've always been a super fan of Walt Disney World. When I attended college in Florida, my first year I visited Walt Disney World over 50 times, the following year I more than doubled those visits. I always had such a great appreciation for the attention to detail that WDW presented to it's guests. I would do more than just hit the parks, I was the type who would take a boat out on the water, try different restaurants from around the parks and hotels. I'd admire the art I would find tucked away in the corners of WDW.

My goal with Disney in Detail is to photograph these esoteric, perhaps greatly overlooked nooks and crannies of Walt Disney World, and show them to the world. My goal is to present this in a fun coffee table book fashion, where not only would get to see the results of my photography, but engage with the book and allow you to try and guess what areas of the park did the photos originate from.

Yes, I'm trying to replace a long lost camera. Unfortunately the care of my wife who has been through a few cancer surgeries and my son who has special needs does not allow me the luxury of repurchasing my equipment, as photography is a love of mine.. not a profession. I'm going to be placing my project up on kickstarter and betting on the goodness of the people to help out, and make this dream a reality... in addition, allow me to give something back to the people who did show support.
